| Come and Sing! | |

Background This will be our 19th Come and Sing, and those who have taken part in the past (young and old, beginners and professionals) say what and exciting and uplifting experience it is to sing in a large choir and raise the roof! We usually number between 30 and 40 singers of all ages and abilities, and a similar number come along to the service in the evening. What is involved? Firstly, there is no reason to feel shy or embarrassed. If you can sing a hymn, that's enough. It's all about finding your own level. More experienced singers will enjoy tacking the anthems too. You will need to bring a pencil, a packed tea, and dress in smart black and/or white. All music is provided, and there are breaks for light refreshments (also provided). If you are not a regular member of our church, don't worry, you will be made to feel most welcome - we find that new people arrive each time we do this, and the nice thing is, they come back next time! There is nothing to pay! The service itself begins at 6:30pm and lasts for just over an hour. Rough schedule: 3:30pm Singers assemble and are seated ready for the rehearsal 3:35-4:45pm Rehearsal 4:45-5:00pm Break 5:00-5:45pm Rehearsal 5:45-6:25pm Break for packed tea 6:25pm Assemble ready to process into the church 6:30-c7:30pm Service We hope to see you there!
