We are very fortunate to have within our church a pool of experienced musicians. The St. James Ensemble began life as a band providing music at a separate monthly 'parade' service. Following the integration of this service into the main Eucharist service, the ensemble too became an integral part of our morning worship for one Sunday each month.

There is a strong tradition of church musicians stretching back through the centuries, and a whole repertoire of liturgical instrumental music that is sadly rarely performed in the context of a church service.

Our goal now is to build on the excellent foundation of the St. James Ensemble - to encourage more musicians to join, and to make effective use of this resource to enhance our musical ministry.
